Daniel Skupski is an academic physician devoted to Women’s Health who believes that the role and effectiveness of women throughout history have been unrecognized and understated. He has over 200 publications in the scientific literature. Media appearances as a physician expert include several local news spots and an appearance on Dateline NBC.

He has participated in creative writing courses from well-known authors Mark Harris and Ron Carlson. He is a reader of many genres, including historical fiction, history, science fiction, fantasy and literary novels. He graduated from Albion College (Biology) and the University of Michigan Medical School. He is a high-risk pregnancy specialist and has served as a Chair of a Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has an expertise regarding in-utero fetal surgery and has focused his work on decreasing maternal mortality.
